Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important and vital part of the Relief Nursery.  When volunteering or interning at Relief Nursery of Collin County you play an essential role in providing services to our children and families. Various positions can meet your personal or professional goals, give you a meaningful experience for community service hours, and provide the opportunity to help and serve others. 

Listed below are areas of opportunity: 

Directly:
 
Classroom Assistant: Assists teachers in a classroom and playground setting using therapeutic approaches.   Children range in ages from six weeks to five years.              
Evening Childcare Assistant: Assist child care workers with mixed age group from 3 months to 9 years while parents attend classes.
Provide and Serve Dinners:  Groups needed to provide and serve each Monday evening, dinners for our families attending Parent Education classes.

In-Directly:

Event Volunteer: Assist Director of Events and Development office with special events and activities.
